Making everyone feel welcome at work is a practice.

Fostering workspaces where everyone thrives

The Welcome at Work campaign encourages and advocates for safer, more respectful workplaces.

Here, we are committed to creating an environment where every individual feels valued and protected.

Our "Welcome at Work" strategy is designed to combat workplace harassment by promoting a culture of empathy and inclusion. We provide HR managers and teams with resources and tools, such as our complimentary poster series, to help spread awareness and educate on the importance of a welcoming work atmosphere.

By focusing on a survivor-centric approach, we encourage "micro progress" through understanding and empathy, rather than solely on punitive measures. Our goal is to ensure that every workplace in Canada is a space where safety and respect are the norm for everyone.

Harassment Isn’t Just Wrong, It’s a Crime

Many people don’t realize that sexual harassment is a spectrum that can include small and subtle forms of aggression that cause harm and make workplaces unsafe, stressful, and an unwelcoming environment for coworkers.

Harassment and violence means “any action, conduct or comment, including of a sexual nature, that can reasonably be expected to cause offence, humiliation or other physical or psychological injury or illness to an employee, including any prescribed action, conduct or comment.”
